Divas is a music program run by MusicNT for Indigenous girls and women who write songs and sing, and would like to build their music skills and perform.  Two days of workshops with fantastic female mentors on April 10 & 11 will teach you how to be a professional Diva on stage.

FRANKENSTEINED MONOLOGUES

A typewriter sits in the festival hub - a trailing train of paper spilling from its top, asking to be typed on. This tactile installation allows festival-goers to add to the Frankensteined Monologue, a surreal and disjointed story comprising thoughts, dreams, jokes, confessions and good ol’ human error. It all stays. It’s all great. It’s all Glorious Nonsense.

BROWN'S MART COURTYARD

Held in the Brown's Mart Theatre Courtyard this space will be your go to for keeping cool and getting crafty over the weekend.  Spend ten minutes or two hours  hanging out in the midst of festival activities, picking up some new art skills as well as meeting other LAUNCH goers.

Each day will be host to chilled out conversations with some of the NT’s most notable self made super stars. These non formal Ted Talk inspired discussions will be a chance to ask about the motivations and experiences of locals who have created their own opportunities.

The LAUNCH Opening Ceremony marks not only the start of our festival, but the GRAND opening of our inaugural #LAUNCHQUEST, the triumphant and prestigious assemblage of all #LAUNCHQUEST teams and the grand reveal of the quest tasks. With music from William Singe, Sietta and ALLDAY, this is an event not to be missed!
