LAUNCH events Musician – Expression of Interest
We are looking for young musicians for the 2019 LAUNCH event series.
In 2018 our team of young producers created the Sounds@Sunset series on the foreshore at Nightcliff and showcased sixteen different acts across their five events.
If you are a local, young musician and would like to be considered to play one of our gigs in 2019, please fill out the expression of interest form below.
To be eligible you will need to be:
· Aged 25 or under (or if more than one band member, at least 50% are 25 or under)
· Based in/around Darwin
· Able to supply own instruments (we will provide the PA and sound operator)
· Able to play a 20-45 minute set that is PG / family-friendly (no swearing, no drug/alcohol/sex references, no violence, sexism, racism, homophobia etc)
IMPORTANT – the size of our PA and stage best suits soloists, duos and trios. We may be able to stretch to a four piece as long as the act is primarily acoustic/vocal based and doesn’t include a drum kit.
