Skate Nights

IMPORTANT UPDATE
01.06.2020

Hey Friends – we’re back at it! Please see below for the 5 changes that we’ve made to Skate Nights due to COVID-19.

Held 6pm-8pm, every second Wednesday night at Jingili Skate Park.

Head down for some free skating motivation. Shredders, spectators and new comers welcome!

The sessions have no structure so you can come and go as you like. Wednesday Skate Night evenings ARE NOT competitions.

This is a great way to meet other skaters!

Skate Nights are suitable for young people who have the spatial awareness and skill level in their chosen discipline not to be a hazard to other park users. Recommended for ages 12+. This City of Darwin event is drug free, this includes alcohol and tobacco.

PS it’s NOT just for skateboarders! Quads, scooter, in-lines and BMX are welcome (:

For updates, including cancellations due to weather events join the Jingli Skate Nights Facebook group.

Community safety is a priority for us.

We’re introducing the following changes to our regular Skate Nights to keep everyone shredding and safe.

1 | ALL participants will be required to complete a log book for contact tracing. This information will remain private and will only be shared with the health authorities if necessary.
2 | Participants are asked to sanitise their hands as they arrive, throughout the skate session and as they leave. Stations provided.
3 | We will no longer provide skateboards, water bottles or safety equipment to share. Please bring your own water bottle and equipment.
4 | Please remain 1.5m away from others when riding and sitting down. BYO chairs encouraged. Crosses will be painted on the seats to demonstrate a safe distance.
5 | DO NOT ATTEND SKATE NIGHTS if you are feeling ill or displaying flu like symptoms.
